Haidilao Hotpot Irvine: A Culinary Journey Through Asian Fusion Hot Pot

I went on my birthday. I heard they have a special birthday service so I tried it. The staff are very friendly, smiling and quick. They take good care of the customers. I will order myself at the table. And after confirming the order, their food delivery time is quite fast. They have a lot of sauces that can be mixed together. They use fresh meat and vegetables. However, the vegetable portion is a little less than I expected, but it's okay. Although the restaurant space is not too large, they really know how to arrange it to look airy and not give a feeling of being crowded when the restaurant starts to fill up.

My first time coming to Haidilao. Very great experience! From the start.. all the food and noodles were exceptional. I got some A5 Wagyu beef that literally melted in my mouth. Friendly staff and cute aesthetic. 10/10 if you order the correct stuff.

I had an amazing dining experience at Haidilao! The service was outstanding — the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. The hotpot ingredients were fresh and of great quality, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I especially loved the flavorful broths and the delicious dipping sauces. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, and the little thoughtful details, like snacks and entertainment while waiting, made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best hotpot restaurants I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!

It was the first time ever trying Haidilao and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! We arrived around 11:30 without a reservation and got seated immediately. We didn't really know what base to get so I asked our server, which one she recommended (which was the golden one pleaaaase try it. It tastes like egg drop soup), as well as bone broth, sukiyaki, and miso. While waiting for the meats to come, we paid about 4$ per person to have access to the seasoning area but it was so worth it. You need to try the sesame sauce combo all over social media. On a side note, the server noticed my sister and I trying to take off our coats and she provided us a basket to place them in she also kept coming back, asking us if we needed anything, and refilled our soup whenever needed. She also helped us pack our stuff and provided some cute mints to go! With the music bumping in the back— as well as some people ordering the dancing noodles which I still need to do— I rate this place for its hospitality and wonderful food an 11/10

We had a fantastic experience at Haidilao Hot Pot Irvine! From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive, warm, and incredibly thoughtful — exactly what Haidilao is known for. The food quality was excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the meat and seafood were fresh, and the sauce bar had plenty of great options to customize everything just the way we like it. Everything came out quickly and was beautifully presented. But what really made our night special was Pamela. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. She checked in at the perfect times, gave helpful recommendations, and made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Her positive attitude and professionalism truly stood out. Dining here felt more than just a meal — it was an experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Pamela again. Highly recommend!

Diamond Jamboree is a very lively place, and parking can be tight. On the second floor of the plaza, there’s a Haidilao Hot Pot, a well-known Chinese hot pot chain, so a few of us decided to come and try it. The restaurant was busy, but even while waiting, there were snacks and tea available outside. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hot pot broth was flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh. We especially enjoyed the beef and handmade noodles. Overall, the meal was very enjoyable. The location is convenient, and there are plenty of other restaurants nearby. Although parking can be a bit tricky, the food and service are definitely worth it. We will definitely come back.

First time at a Hot Pot, so I can't make a comparison. That said, I had the pork and sukiyaki broth with several types of meat and vegetables. The meals are light but after $200, it was filling. They have some good beer selections too. There were a couple of birthday celebrations which added a festive atmosphere. The Japanese dancer was entertaining and the changing masks were pretty cool.

First time at this hot place our server was extremely helpful for my friends who didn’t know much! The proteins and portions sizes were great for a group of four! Definitely a go to place for HOT POT.
